New HSK Course 1 – Chinese for Absolute Beginners

New HSK Course 1 is the official textbook for level 1 of the new HSK 3.0 exam. It is made by the publisher FLTRP together with Chinese Testing International, the organisation behind the HSK.

The book has 15 lessons with about 300 words and 40 grammar points. The lessons follow one story, so you meet the same characters in everyday situations: greeting people, introducing yourself, numbers, dates and simple questions. Each lesson ends with tasks in the style of the exam.

The workbook gives you extra practice for every lesson. If you want to take HSK 1, buy the textbook and the workbook together.
